Weathersfield Proctor Library

Our library has a new ADA Accessible Bathroom! In case you missed it, last night the Friends of Proctor Library and the Library Trustees hosted a Toilet Paper Cutting and Grand Flushing!

About 45 people attended a free picnic before the opening ceremony complete with hot dogs, pizza and sub sandwiches.

After the feast, folks moved to the side of the building where Board Chair Rick Bates (far left) welcomed everyone. He thanked folks for their patience during the construction and especially thanked All Seasons Construction from Springfield Vt. for their excellent work. Architect Ralph Nimtz from NBF Architects in Rutland Vt. was also on handle for the celebration. Former Board Chair Ernie Shand (far right) introduced Library Director Mark Richardson.  Keegan and Kate Murphy held the toilet paper ribbon.

A very special cake was created by The Little Cake Shoppe at Jennyridge Farm in Canaan NH and donated by Amy Beth and Ron Main.
A grand time was had by all.
