November is National Novel Writing Month!

The Weathersfield Proctor Library invites you to come to the library on Saturday November 1 between 9:00 and 5:00 pm and on Friday November 21 between 6:00 - 8:00 pm to write.  Bring your laptop, your pen, pencil and paper or other writing instruments and just begin! Bring a floor cushion, use a public computer station or sit at our table. Many people use this month to join along with other writers on the NaNoWriMo website and challenge themselves to write 50,000 words during the month of November.

Look for other opportunities to hang out with writers and write at local bookstores and libraries.  Many will be posted in the Vermont forum on the NaNoWriMo website.  What are plot bunnies and plot ninjas?  Find out this and more when you connect with fellow WriMos online or in person at a write in.  Put away your internal critic and editor and just write. What if you don't make the 50,000 word challenge?  What if you only write 20,000 words or 10,000 words or 2,000 words?  Well, that will be more words than you wrote on October 31, and who knows where those words will lead you?
