Learn how to download library ebooks to your device in this 60 minute Saturday workshop.  Please bring your device, a laptop if you have one, your library card number (we can look this up for you) and if you have a Kindle please have your login and password for your Amazon account.  Space is limited and sign up is required for this workshop. Please call, email or stop by to sign up.

Library ebooks are available at ListenUp Vermont through the Green Mountain Library Consortium and Overdrive.  If you are unable to make the Saturday sessions, the library offers one hour Computer Tutor sessions every Friday from 10:30 - 11:30 am. The Overdrive site offers an extensive help menu as well to get you started.  Here are the steps to log in to ListenUp Vermont/Green Mountain Library Consortium

  • go to ListenUp Vermont
  • click "sign in" in the upper right corner of the screen
  • type your library's name - Weathersfield Proctor Library, and select from the list of libraries
  • click on the blue link below that reads "Weathersfield Proctor Library users  please click here to sign in to this system
  • enter your library card number with no spaces  - if you do not know your library card number, please call or email the library
  • click on the Help button
  • click Overdrive Help for device specific instructions
If you are interested in downloading digital audiobooks, the library is offering a separate workshop on January 25, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Please bring your device, your usb cord to connect device to computer (if applicable) and a laptop if you have one.  Space is limited and sign up is required.  If you are not able to come to this workshop, please see above for other times and intructions to access the online help menu.
