Between The Covers Quilt Project Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 7:00 pm

This event is part of the Summer Reading Program at the Library.
Bring your sewing machine (if you have one) and learn how to make a wall hanging or crib sized quilt. This is an easy beginner project for all ages - kids under 16 please bring an adult with you.  Please call the Library at 674-2863 or email or stop by to sign up.  There is a $5.00 materials fee.  Make a quilt in one night?  Lynn tells me it can be done!

Family Pajama Movie Night Thursday July 26, 2012 at 7:00 pm

DREAM BIG at your Library - put on your pjs and come to the Library for movie night.  Keeping with the owl theme, the Library will be showing a movie about a young owl who must find the Guardians of Ga' Houle.  Popcorn and drinks will be served - please bring a bowl for popcorn!

Owls and Their Calls with VINS on Friday, July 20th at 7pm

Come to Martin Memorial Hall (just a few doors up Route 5 North from the Library) and learn about whoooo may be living in your neighborhood at night. Lyme Disease: Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment with Dr Alexis Chesney ND Thursday July 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm

Learn about deer ticks and Lyme disease in this 90 minute presentation with time for questions and answers. Dr Chesney received her Doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a Masters in acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
